Terra Sangue Mare

Original compositions and traditional songs infused with Mediterranean warmth and color

Join us for an evening of vibrant Italian folk songs played by Terra Sangue Mare, an ensemble created by Michela Musolino and Fabio Turchetti.

The grand-daughter of Sicilian immigrants, internationally recognized Italian-American singer Michela Musolino has re-discovered her cultural roots through the study and reinterpretation of the folk songs of Sicily and Southern Italy.

Terra Sangue Mare's eponymous CD is the result of the trio's exploration of Sicilian Folk and Roots Music, and their experimentation with sounds inherent in world music traditions. Played on world music radio stations around the globe, it has received excellent public feedback and critical acclaim, and has been included in Pop Matters' list of The Twelve Best World Music Albums for 2016.

This Event is Free of Charge and Open to the Public
