Oil paintings by Domenico Monteforte
An exhibition of oil paintings by Tuscan artist Domenico Monteforte. The paintings, created expressly for this exhibition, capture the sublime beauty and remarkable light of the colourful Tuscan landscapes. The works are also published in an elegant Italian-English catalogue curated by art critic Gianmarco Puntelli.
Maestro Nicola Luisotti, director of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and a long-standing friend of the painter, and the Italian theatre director Gabriele Lavia will be present to introduce the exhibition on its opening night.
Opens on June 10, 2012; on view until August 30, 2012.
Admission is free.
